Reports
Build saved charts of any slice of feedback, filterable by trait and metadata.
Reports are saved, shareable charts of any slice of your feedback. Where Clusters answers “what are the themes?” and Ask answers “what do people think of X?”, Reports answers “show me this cut, on a chart, that I can revisit every week”.
Build a report
#The builder composes a query from a few choices:
- Measure — count of items, or a breakdown share.
- Breakdown — by sentiment, type, source, or any metadata key.
- Filters — narrow by sentiment, type, source, theme, or any metadata value you attach at ingestion (
plan: pro). Add several: values on the same field match either, different fields must all match. - Granularity & range — daily or weekly, over the window you pick.
Because every metadata key you send becomes a filter and a breakdown, the shape of your reports is really decided when you send feedback — the richer your metadata, the sharper the cuts. Reports cut by the properties on each item; to segment by who someone is — plan, mrr and other identify traits — use the Users page and cluster segment breakdowns. Sending a value as metadata as well as a trait makes it available in both places.
What teams build
#Tip
A weekly “negative feedback by product area” for the leadership sync. A “feature requests from enterprise accounts” for the roadmap. A “bugs on /checkout since the last release” to watch a deploy. Save them once; they stay live.
